The Vitamin G project was initiated by the Arts Partnership Surrey in 2013.  The project aims to establish eight intergenerational, art and community gardens across Surrey, with a particular focus on ensuring that older people are involved. Each garden will be developed by the community, working collaboratively with Sculptit arts organisation and with specialist advice from the team at Leatherhead Community Garden. It is important that the gardens are inspiring, creative places to be, as well as productive and sociable. Each garden is evolving differently depending on local need and we will work with communities to ensure that they create gardens which work for them.

The Vitamin G website will function as a website for the garden communities to share information and photos from their experiences and the gardens. You can also find lots of useful links that we’ve assembled on the Resources page.
